RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Provide staff direction with a possible motion for approval of the improvements proposed by the pickle ball group.
BACKGROUND:
Staff received a request from the local pickle ball enthusiasts to make improvements to the pickle ball courts at Hillendale Park.
The group proposes to improve fencing around the courts and provide a small set of bleachers adjacent to the courts. Staff requested that the bleachers be installed on a cement slab. The slab will allow for easier maintenance and the reduction of the use of pesticides to maintain under the bleachers.
OPTIONS:
1. Move to approve proposed improvements to the Hillendale Pickle Ball courts.
2. Deny improvements to the Hillendale Pickle Ball courts.
