I-205 Corridor Widening Update

RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Provide staff feedback and comment on additional parking for Jon Storm Park.
BACKGROUND:
The state is moving forward with the planning process for the widening of the I-205 Abernathy Bridge. Because of the location of the parking for Jon Storm park under the bridge, ODOT is required to provide alternate parking for the duration of the project. It is anticipated that the temporary parking will ultimately be built to a permanent standard and will continue to function long after the completion of the project.
In attendance are representatives of HDR, an engineering firm who is working on this portion of the property.
