Citizen Involvement Committee (CIC) Request to Amend Procedures and Restore Bylaws

RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Authorization to the Citizen Involvement Committee to review and recommend changes to Chapter 2.30 of the Oregon City Municipal Code and associated bylaws.
BACKGROUND:
At the October 7, 2019 Citizen Involvement Committee (CIC) meeting, Bob LaSalle presented concerns and recommendations for changes to the CIC.
1. Restore voting rights to both neighborhood CIC representatives
2. Restore bylaws for the CIC
3. Restore the responsibility of the agenda to the CIC chair
The CIC unanimously voted to send this request to the City Commission at the next available meeting. If approved, the CIC will prepare a recommendation of changes to Chapter 2.30 of the Oregon City Municipal Code and bylaws, including the items identified above and other changes as needed. The work will be presented to the City Commission at a work session prior to approval.
