BACKGROUND

   

1. All CIC positions run on a 2-year appointment schedule that expires December 31, 2019. Neighborhoods, please submit your applications as soon as you are able.

The Following Neighborhood Associations have turned in their applications as of October 25, 2019:

2.  The city budget puts aside money each biennium in a city account to support the printing and mailing of neighborhood association postcards.  The city has a contract with Buels Impressions Printing, who prints the cards and sends them to a third party mailer through a bulk rate permit. Neighborhood Associations prepare the draft postcard with their own graphic design program. 3. The October presentations by Water Capital Improvement List- Public Works Department and Code Amendments- (Equitable Housing Clean-Up, Shelters, MUD Height Limits)-Laura Terway, Community Development Department are attached for your reference.

 

4.   Oregon City is seeking additional feedback from the community to help determine the final design of Beavercreek Road along the concept plan boundary. Rezoning any property within the city limits requires a transportation study. The transportation analysis for this project indicated that the previously adopted Beavercreek Road Concept Plan showing a 3 lane cross-section (1 lane in each direction and a center turn lane) met the legal requirements of the zone change process. However, we have heard from the public that a fresh look may be needed to see if the adopted 3-lane design compared to a 5-lane design (2 lanes in each direction and a center turn lane) is more comprehensive.
