RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Authorize the City Manager to execute the contract for a High-Density Mobile Storage System for the Police and Municipal Courts Building with Spacesaver Specialists, Inc.
BACKGROUND:
On September 19, 2017, the voters of Oregon City authorized the issuance of bonds in the principal amount up to $16 million to provide a new Police and Municipal Court Facility. This service will be through the Sourcewell contract for the City of Oregon City.
Based on Spacesaver Specialists, Inc. proposal for scope of services, staff recommends that the Commission authorize the City Manager to execute the contract not to exceed $266,679.70 for Spacesaver to provide a High-Density Mobile Storage System for the Police and Municipal Courts Building. The Spacesaver Specialists, Inc. price summary sheet, Sourcewell contract, and prepared purchase order documents are attached.
