RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Staff recommends the City Commission approve the Judge's two-year employment agreement.

BACKGROUND:
The City Commission reviewed the Municipal Court Judge Laraine McNiece's employment agreement in Executive Session on July 17, 2019 and reached consensus that Ms. McNiece's employment agreement should be renewed for two years.  The new employment agreement includes a three percent (3%) salary increase.  The Commission also awarded a five percent (5%) merit payment in recognition of the previous year’s performance.

BUDGET IMPACT:
Amount: $8,000
