PG 19-02 Preservation Grant for 803 5th Avenue- Porch Repair & Rehabilitation

RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Staff recommends approval of the grant award increase.
BACKGROUND:
The applicant has already been approved (PG 18-02) for a grant of $1000 to replace materials on the deck and build front steps on the Edward Nutall Residence. The applicant has not finished the project and is requesting an increase of the award of $1,133.50. The total project cost is $4,267, and the total grant award would be $2133.50 or 50% of the project cost. Although the maximum request is set at $1000, the Historic Review Board may choose to grant additional funds at the end of the fiscal year if there is money remaining in the grant budget.
The Preservation Grant cycle is ending June 30 and over $2,900 remains in the two-year cycle. The applicant must finish the work and request a reimbursement prior to the end of the fiscal year. `
