Consider draft recommendation to the Planning Commission.
BACKGROUND:
Following the presentation by John Van Staveren of Pacific Habitat Services on December 5, 2018 it was suggested that native plantings be recommended beyond the fifty-foot vegetated corridor for landscaped areas not within the Natural Resources Overlay District boundary previously approved by the Planning Commission in 2008. The 50-foot vegetated corridor was originally approved by the Planning Commission for the first Cove master plan in 2008 (CP 08-01) and that approval is still valid. The attached draft recommendation would formalize the NRC's suggestion and place it in the record for the Planning Commission's consideration at the public hearing to consider Phase II of the Cove Development on January 28, 2019.
