2018-2019 Grant Agreement for Rediscover the Falls

RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Staff recommends the City Commission approve the 2018-2019 grant agreement for Rediscover the Falls, a nonprofit which supports the Willamette Falls Legacy Project.
BACKGROUND:
The success of the Willamette Falls Legacy Project requires significant public and private support. Rediscover the Falls (RTF), a nonprofit group assists in advocacy, outreach, and fundraising for the Willamette Falls Legacy Project. Oregon City has joined Metro and Clackamas County in supporting the creation and growth of RTF to help RTF launch its first capital campaign to support the first phase of the Legacy Project, known as the “Riverwalk.” The attached one-year agreement identifies $50,000 of support from Oregon City to support RTF over the current biennium which has been previously budgeted.
