RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion): Approval of PG 18-05, a $207.75 grant for wood storm windows on the Dr. Mabel Hardenbrook Residence located at 1602 17th Street.

 

 

BACKGROUND:The Oregon City Historic Review Board’s renovation grant program makes funds available to property owners of Locally Designated historic buildings desiring to make exterior rehabilitation or renovation improvements; structural improvements to preserve the integrity of the structure may also qualify. The conditions of this program require that all improvements and projects be in keeping with the architectural integrity of the structure.

 

The applicant has requested a grant to pay a portion of the cost of five wood storm windows. The home is a designated landmark outside of a historic district known as the Dr. Mabel Hardenbrook Residence.

 

The preservation grant program covers 25% of storm window costs. The total project cost is $831 and the grant of 25% would be $207.75.
