Body

RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):

Staff recommends that the Planning Commission provide direction on remaining items. Please refer to the Issue Summary Matrix.

BACKGROUND:

Planning Division staff and consultants have been working with the community to provide updates to the development standards within the Oregon City Municipal Code. The standards include a variety of topics such as options for additional housing opportunities as well as other changes which were not reviewed by the equitable housing advisory committees. The remaining items to be discussed for this work session which staff is asking for final direction on are detailed in the attached Issue Summary Matrix and include the following:

-Minimum parking for internal conversions

-Maximum size of additions for Internal Conversions.

-Locations of temporary food carts.

-Tree removal in annexation areas. A copy of Lake Oswego's Resolution 04-38 regarding this issue is attached for reference.

-Consider policy guidance to the City Commission beyond the zoning code. See comments from Commissioner Espe.
