Title

Second Reading of Ordinance No. 18-1011, Annexation of 0.96 Acres at 19405 S South End Road (Planning File AN 18-0001)

Body

RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):

Staff recommends that the City Commission approve file AN 18-0001 and the second reading of Ordinance No. 18-1011.

BACKGROUND:

Planning File AN 18-0001 involves a request for annexation of a 0.96 acre property into the city limits of Oregon City in order to receive city services. The property is required to annex as a result of a septic system failure and has already connected to the city sewer system. No re-zoning of the property is proposed at this time.

Pursuant to the city's Comprehensive Plan policy 14.4.4 to expedite the annexation process for properties that are required to annex as a condition of connecting to city sewer, this application does not require a recommendation from the Planning Commission.

The attached proposed findings, reasons for decision and conclusions detail compliance of the proposal with the City's annexation code and policies.  The City Commission approved the first reading on August 1, 2018.  The public comment period is closed.
