RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):

Staff recommends that the Historic Review Board conditionally approve HR 18-05.

 

 

BACKGROUND:

The Thomas and Bridget Knowles Rental is located at 819 10th Street on Tax Lot 2-2E-31AA-07100. 811 10th Street, a non- designated 1960s ranch house, is also located on the same tax lot. The applicant is currently pursuing a two-lot partition to allow each home to be on their own legal Tax Lot.  The requested reduction transfers the historic designation to solely be on Parcel 2 of the Partition.

 

Staff supports this approach as it will provide clarity to both property owners on the requirements of OCMC 17-40 Historic Overlay District on their properties.
