Personal Services Agreement for Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service for the Oregon City Police Department

RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Staff recommends the City Commission approve Abe's Royal Cleaners' bid for Police Department laundry and dry cleaning services in the total not-to-exceed amount of $53,000 for the term of the contract. The contract period will run July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2023.
BACKGROUND:
In May 2018, staff solicited bids for Police Department laundry and dry cleaning services. The solicitation appeared in the May 2, 2018 issue of the Oregon City News. Public bid opening occurred at 3:00 PM on May 30, 2018. Abe's Royal Cleaners was the only bid received. Abe's Royal Cleaners bid reflected an increase of 15.47% in laundry and dry cleaning service over the 2013-2018 current contract, which is consistent with the increase from the 2008-2013 contract.
