RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Staff recommends the City Commission approve the Public Improvement Contract for the Concrete Deck and Steel Column Repair at the Oregon City Swimming Pool.
BACKGROUND:
A portion of the existing pool deck and natatorium structural steel columns are deteriorating causing structural integrity issues and are in need of repair. This project addresses two safety concerns and is necessary to extend the life of the pool facility. The City conducted a competitive sealed bid process with one responsive responsible bidder. We recommend award of the contract to the lowest responsive responsible bidder, Timbercreek 1 LLC Construction Company. The project was pre-approved by Commission through the 2018-19 budget process.
