Resolution No. 18-02, Modifying Park Special Event and Shelter Rates

RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Staff recommends the City Commission approve Resolution 18-02, modifying the Parks Division special event and shelter fee schedule.
BACKGROUND:
The number of special event requests have increased over the past few years and with the additional request have come additional complexities in providing the services required by the public. Oregon CIty Parks are used for daily activities, birthday parties, camps, reunions, company picnics, car shows, community celebrations and other special events. These adjustments to the special events rates will serve to better prepare and properly maintain the park grounds, restrooms, and garbage both before and after events. The park special event rates will bring Oregon City more in line with comparable cities and more accurately reflect the time and resources needed to provide services to our park guests.
