Request for Financial Support for the Willamette Falls Locks Repair and Re-opening Efforts

RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Staff recommends the City Commission discuss and provide direction.
BACKGROUND:
The City of West Linn has sent a letter (attached) requesting financial support in the amount of $7,000 each year in 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 for the efforts to repair and reopen the Willamette Falls Locks. Mayor Russ Axelrod will be attending the City Commission meeting on December 20, 2017 to present this request.

Amount: $14,000
