RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Staff recommends the City Commission approve the Judge's two-year employment agreement.

BACKGROUND:
The City Commission reviewed the Municipal Court Judge Laraine McNiece's employment agreement in Executive Session on September 6, 2017 reached consensus that Ms. McNiece's employment agreement should be renewed for two years and that the terms and conditions of the agreement should modifed to include a provision for Merit Pay for Performance as a percentage of salary all other provisions remain unchanged from the expiring agreement.

BUDGET IMPACT:
Amount: $150,000 + $10,000 (assuming Merit Pay up to 5% and 2% COLA each fiscal year)
