Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with Clackamas Community College (CCC) for Educational Experience for Aboriculture Students

RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Authorize the City Manager to execute an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the City of Oregon City (City) and Clackamas Community College (CCC).
BACKGROUND:
This agreement allows students enrolled in Clackamas Community College's aboriculture program to perform course related work on City-owned real property and providing them with practical, educational experience. The work performed will enable students to apply course content to meaningful, hands-on learning experiences such as work site assessment, structural pruning, plant health care, hazard abatement, and arboriculture assessment and maintenance. This cooperative relationship will mutually benefit both parties by providing CCC students invaluable real-world experience and helping the City with aboriculture-related projects.
The term of this IGA shall last through August 31, 2020, at which point there is the opportunity to renew this agreement.

There is no budget impact.
