RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):

Authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Personal Services Agreement (PSA) in the amount of $36,190.00 with DECA Architecture, Inc. to provide professional services necessary for the 2016 Public Works Operations Master Plan. 

 

BACKGROUND:

The Public Works Department has been working to update the Operations Center Master Plan for the last year. The City has completed the layout / sizing components of the study which consisted of determining the revised needs of the department, appropriate placement of facilities to address community concerns brought forth in the 2009 plan, and revised use of existing facilities. The additional architecture, landscape design, and engineering work is required to address previous changes to the master plan as a result of neighborhood association input, client requests, stormwater management calculations and future coordination of geotechnical engineering.

 

Original Contract:                                            $76,992.00

Amendment #1:                                            $36,190.00

Total Amended Contract:                      $113,182.00
