RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):

Staff recommends that the City Commission authorize the purchase for replacement of mower 886. The purchase price of the equipment is $89,080.80.

 

BACKGROUND:

Oregon City Parks equipment replacements are managed through our Parks Fleet Replacement Fund.  Every year we assess our various equipment for service life, remaining life, vehicle maintenance and budgeted replacement. Funds are carefully budgeted for strategic replacement of equipment before it loses its efficiency.

 

We will be contracting with Turf Star a distributor of Toro Mowers. Please see attached price quote.

 

For this purchase staff is utilizing NIPA pricing. This purchasing program complies with all state procurement requirements set forth.
