Contract Agreement with S-2 Contractors Inc. for Construction of OR213/Beavercreek Road Operational Enhancement Project

RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Authorize the City Manager to execute the Contract Agreement with S-2 Contractors Inc. in the amount of $191,291.00 to provide construction services for the OR 213 / Beavercreek Road Operational Enhancement Project.
BACKGROUND:
The City executed a Personal Services Agreement (PSA) with OBEC Consulting Engineers, Inc. in September 2015 to design and prepare contract documents to extend the eastbound dual left turn lanes on Beavercreek Road at OR 213. In January 2017, staff solicited bids for the project in accordance with City and State contracting procedures.
Five bids were received and OBEC Consulting Engineers, Inc. and staff reviewed the bids and found S-2 Contractors Inc. to be the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
