Resolution No. 16-17, Supplemental Budget for the 2015-17 Biennium

RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Move to approve Resolution No. 16-17, a resolution to adopt a supplemental budget for the 2015-17 biennium.
BACKGROUND:
The Mayor and City Commission adopted the 2015-17 Biennial Budget with Resolution No. 15-19 on June 17, 2015. Conditions that were not known at the time the budget was prepared
have occurred that require adjustments to the Adopted Budget through a supplemental budget. The adjustments include:
• Release the amount in Reserved for Future Expenditures to begin construction on Beavercreek Rd. dual left turn lanes.
• Recognize grant funds received from the Oregon State Marine Board to conduct a hydrology study at the Clackamette Park boat ramp.
• Recognize carryover of unspent funds allocated for remodel of the Aquatic Center office.
• Recognize revenue received from the Greater Oregon Watershed Council to assist with design of the Scatter Canyon project.
• Recognize grant funds and set aside matching funds to upgrade police radios in conjunction with the measure that passed on May 17, 2016 to upgrade the County 911 system.
