RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):

Staff recommends the City Commission approve the Public Improvement Contract for the Front Office Remodel at the Oregon City Swimming Pool. 

 

BACKGROUND:

The existing front office, constructed in 1965, does not meet ADA standards and is in disrepair.  The remodel will update the front office to meet required ADA standards, improve the ability to monitor admittance and streamline patron access into the natatorium.  Additionally, the remodel will improve employee ergonomics, improve staff efficiency and offer a more conducive office environment.  The City solicited four bids and is recommending award of the contract to the lowest responsive responsible bidder; Timbercreek 1 LLC Construction Company.  Budget: The project was pre-approved through the 2016-2017 budget process.
