RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Staff requests the City Commission take public testimony from any citizen requesting to speak and then continue the first reading of the Ordinance to the October 21, 2015 City Commission meeting.
BACKGROUND:
The applicant is seeking approval for a Zone Change from “R-10” Single-Family Dwelling District to “R-6” Single-Family Dwelling District and a 25-Lot subdivision at 19588 McCord Road in Oregon City. The Planning Commission reviewed the request on August 24, 2015 and again on September 14, 2015 where it was recommended that the City Commission hearing date be continued to allow the Planning Commission sufficient time to make a recommendation and staff sufficient time to prepare for the City Commission hearing. The Planning Commission convened again on September 28, 2015 and made a recommendation of approval to the Commission on this matter. As identified at the September 14th and september 28th Planning Commission hearings, staff requests the City Commission continue Planning files ZC 15-02 and TP 15-03 to October 21, 2015.
