BACKGROUND:

Beginning spring 2016, The Intertwine Alliance Oak-Prairie Work Group http://theintertwine.org/oak-mapping-work-group will facilitate a free workshop series taught by oak/prairie landscaping specialist Mark Griswold Wilson for urban residential landowners to learn about and implement 'naturescaping' with native oak. Workshops will consist of one class session, followed by two hands-on trainings, ideally for clusters of neighbors and/or landowners in close proximity to a natural area supporting native oak. To register your interest in the workshop series, take a short survey at https://kes-oakquest2015.formstack.com/forms/oakscaping_landowner_workshop_app.
