Meyers Road Extension Corridor Plan

BACKGROUND:
The Meyers Road Extension Corridor Plan establishes a concept for connecting Meyers Road from Highway 213 to High School Lane. The plan includes a preferred alignment for the street, a proposed typical road section, and includes new connections and recommended intersection changes. This is a legislative item that came before the Planning Commission for a public hearing on August 24th as an amendment to the Transportation System Plan and Comprehensive Plan.
The consultant, David Evans Associates, has completed the final draft of the plan for Planning Commission and City Commission review. The Planning Commission recommended approval on August 24th, 2015. The first reading of the ordinance will be at the City Commission meeting on September 16, 2015.
