RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Staff recommends the Planning Commission approve the proposal with the conditions listed in the staff report.
BACKGROUND:
The applicant has submitted a Master Plan, Detailed Development Plan, and Natural Resource Overlay Review for a Master Plan for the Moss High School Campus at 19761 Beavercreek Road. The Master Plan area includes the existing high school and assoicated parking lots, athletic fields, and a new transportation maintenance facility. The vacant 10.5 acre portion of the site is proposed to accommodate the District's Transportation and Maintenance Facility and associated storage areas for buses, vans, maintenance vehicles and staff and visitor parking. The Transportation Facility is propsed as Phase One of the Master Plan and is included in this application as a detailed development plan. Future phases are also proposed for the 10-year Master Plan. The subject site contains a wetland and 50 foot vegetated buffer area, which the applicant proposes to disturb minimally to construct a stormwater outfall. A mitigation plan has been submitted for a Natural Resource Overlay review.
