Budget:
The budget for the Library will be presented on Monday, April 12 at the City Budget Hearings. It is a biennium budget and I will bring this to the meeting for you to review

Staffing:
We have hired several on-call workers to help fill out the uncovered hours here and there as well as be available for times when staff are on vacation or ill. We feel like we got a lot of sharp people. We have replaced the story time person who moved away. We also are training people for specific areas such as reference and children's.
Speaking of reference, we have hired a new full time Library Assistant 3 to replace Sue Adams and work with us in the new library. Her name is Gina Bacon; she comes to us from Hillsboro and PSU and she will be starting full time on April 21. We are really excited to have her.
