Proclamation Request Policy for the City Commission

RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Staff recommends approval of the proclamation request policy as presented.
BACKGROUND:
Staff was asked to prepare a draft policy to address proclamation requests that come to the Mayor, Commissioners, and staff. At the March 10, 2015 work session, the Commission reviewed and discussed the draft policy. The City Attorney has also reviewed and approves the policy, which would be Commission Policy 1-19.
Staff recommends the City Commission approve the proclamation policy as presented.
