Title

Clackamas Water Environmental Services (WES) Outfall Project

Body

RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):

Provide feedback to Water Environmental Services (WES) staff, possible motion in support of the project.

BACKGROUND:

This project allows WES to underground a pipe below Jon Storm park.  Due to Covid19, we are doing this a little back word, as the Commission has already approved the ballot title for the November election that would permit it.  It will have minimum impact on the park as it will be bored underneath, but they will be working with us to make some minor compensation to us for the park.  I would recommend an approval with any compensation going to help us with some tree mitigation issues in this park and along the walkway to Clackamette park.

Water Environmental Services staff will join with us on our meeting to present a more detailed look at their project and answer any questions you may have.

OPTIONS:

1. Provide Parks staff and WES staff with feedback regarding the project.

2. Recommend against the project moving forward.

3. Recommend for the project moving forward.
