Title
Molalla Avenue Enhancements, Phase III - UPDATE

Body
BACKGROUND:
In 2001, the Molalla Avenue Boulevard and Bikeway Plan was adopted by the City Commission.  This plan was recently given a high priority once again as a result of the City's 2013 Transportation System Plan (TSP) Update.

In order to complete the segment of Molalla Avenue from Beavercreek to Hwy. 213, Oregon City Public Works has been working to obtain grant funding.  Recently, the City submitted a grant application (attached) in an effort to obtain state/federal funds to make these corridor improvements.  Currently, all applications are being reviewed and the next step in the process is the public involvement period which will include online voting. The City is competing with four other Clackamas County applications and seeking to become the County's choice as the project to be forwarded to Metro for funding.

We are seeking outreach assistance from the TAC to get support for our application by having Oregon City residents and business owners complete the online survey now at http://www.orcity.org/publicworks/molalla-avenue-beavercreek-road-hwy-213 before the 6/7/13 deadline.
