RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Staff recommends the City Commission approve Resolution No. 15-30.
BACKGROUND:
Oregon City, Metro, Clackamas County and the State of Oregon (the "Partners") have been working in collaboration to apply for grants and seek funding for the Willamette Falls Legacy Project. The technical assistance grant application would provide additional resources to compliment existing investments and work to study and prepare an infrastructure finance plan for the redevelopment of the Blue Heron property. The City currently is working with EcoNW to review local funding options for infrastructure and has applied for a Community Planning Development Grant with Clackamas County and Falls Legacy, LLC to prepare a Development Opportunity Study.
