RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Staff recommends approval of the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with Clackamas County for Community Development Block Grant funding for the Save the Francis Ermatinger House project.
BACKGROUND:
The City was successful in its application to Clackamas County for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for the Ermatinger House, and has been awarded $130,000 in the current three-year funding allocation cycle for the program. The grant funds will be available beginning July 1, 2013 to the City for use in its efforts to restore and preserve the Ermatinger House. The IGA directs the administration of the CDBG funding, and the responsibilities and requirements of Oregon City and Clackamas County. The CDBG program is funded by the Federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program, and allocated and administered in our county by the Clackamas County Department of Health, Housing and Human Resources Community Development Division.
