BACKGROUND:
Staff has prepared a resolution forwarding AN 12-04 to the legal voters of Oregon City, setting an election date of November 6, 2012, and adopting and approving a ballot title for inclusion in the voter's pamphlet.
Following a land use public hearing on August 15, 2012 the City Commission approved AN 12-04, adopting the Staff Report and Findings, Reasons for Decision, and Recommendations.
The applicant is seeking to annex one (1) parcel into the City of Oregon City.  The parcel is currently located within unincorporated Clackamas County, inside the Portland metropolitan area Urban Growth Boundary (UGB), and within the Urban Growth Management Agreement (UGMA) Area of Oregon City and Clackamas County. The area of the proposed annexation is at the intersection of Maplelane Road and S. Maplelane Court.  The area is comprised of one (1) tax lot for a total area of approximately 0.89 acres.  The property is part of the original UGB (1979).
All annexations are subject to review by the City Commission against the approval factors in OCMC 14.04.060 - Annexation factors <<http://library.municode.com/HTML/16540/level2/TIT14AN_CH14.04CIBOCHEXSE.html>>.
