RECOMMENDED ACTION (Motion):
Staff will provide a presentation, no action from the City Commission is needed.
BACKGROUND:
The Transportation System Plan (TSP) provides a long term guide for transportation investments into an equitable and efficient transportation system. Over the past year, City staff has been working with the community to evaluate the current transportation system and outline policies and projects to protect and enhance the quality of life in Oregon City. The plan guides development and management of a multi-modal transportation system until 2035. The document reflects updated population growth forecasting, changes in land use planning, Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) expansions and compliance with required regulations.
This work session will focus on the proposed amendments to the Oregon City Municipal Code to implement the Transportation System Plan.
